This is a complete forward assist assembly, not just a button. It includes all the components you need for a direct replacement in your upper receiver: the forward assist button with integrated pawl, the precision-wound spring, and the roll pin. Everything is factory-assembled and ready to drop into any standard AR-15, M4, or M16 upper receiver.
The button features deep, aggressive serrations and a contoured face for a positive, non-slip engagement, whether you press it with your palm or thumb. The internal pawl is precision-cut to engage the serrations on your bolt carrier smoothly and reliably, ensuring positive bolt seating when you need it most.
