The AR-15 Complete Anti-Rotation Trigger/Hammer Pin Set in Black Chrome is the definitive upgrade for protecting your lower receiver and ensuring absolute trigger reliability with a premium stealth-luxury finish. Factory trigger and hammer pins are held in by spring tension alone, allowing them to rotate and walk out under recoil. This set solves the two biggest problems with standard pins in one engineered solution.
1. Eliminates Rotation and Receiver Wear: Every time your rifle fires, standard pins rotate inside the receiver, slowly grinding and egging out the trigger and hammer pin holes. This permanently damages your lower and creates a loose, sloppy trigger. Our system uses two precision-machined side plates that sit flush against the receiver. The hardened pins are locked to these plates with screws, completely preventing any rotation. The pins stay fixed, your receiver is preserved, and your trigger and hammer stay in perfect alignment for a consistent, crisp pull shot after shot.
2. Prevents Pin Walk-Out: Vibration and recoil can cause standard pins to drift out, leading to a shifted trigger, hammer follow, or total failure. This is a common failure point for all drop-in triggers. Our pins are positively locked into the side plates with high-strength stainless steel Torx screws, making walk-out physically impossible. This is critical, must-have insurance for CMC, Timney, Elftmann, Rise Armament, and any duty, defense, or competition build.
This complete kit includes: (2) Precision-Ground Trigger/Hammer Pins, (2) Billet Side Plates, (4) Stainless Steel Screws, and (1) Torx Wrench.
The pins are CNC-machined from hardened 4140 chromoly steel and centerless-ground to a perfect .154″ diameter for a precision fit. The side plates are CNC-machined from solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum for exceptional strength and lightweight.
The entire set is finished in Black Chrome. Unlike flat black anodizing, Black Chrome is a premium plating process over a polished nickel base that creates a deep, lustrous, smoky black finish with a subtle metallic gloss. It is extremely hard, corrosion-proof, and resistant to oils and solvents.
